I’m a perfectionist in general, but when it comes to running, not so much. I’m happy to just let my runs be what they are. Racing, on the other hand, is a different story. If I feel that I have a PR in me, and I don’t get it, I can be really hard on myself.*
So needed this today! I was pretty upset this AM after a run which wasn’t “perfect”. Throughout the day I felt much better realizing it was further than I could run just last week
Definitely not a perfectionist, on the other hand, trying to run more efficiently each outing. Ran intervals in the mountains this beautiful day. Grateful for good conditions out there today.

Very true!
